Overview

NullPost is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. The short version: we collect as little as possible and never sell your data.

Data we collect

When you create an account, we store:

  • Your email address (for authentication and account recovery)
  • Your name (for display on your blog)
  • Your blog content (posts, drafts, settings)

Data we don't collect

  • We don't use analytics cookies on your blog
  • We don't track your readers across the web
  • We don't sell or share your data with third parties
  • We don't serve ads or use ad-tracking pixels

Blog analytics

We provide basic view counts for your posts. These are simple server-side counters that don't use cookies or fingerprinting. Your readers remain anonymous.

Data export and deletion

You can export all your content as Markdown files at any time. If you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

Security

Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Sessions use secure, HTTP-only cookies. All traffic is encrypted with TLS. We follow security best practices and regularly review our codebase.
